Thanks for all the comments everyone - I'm glad you like my dancing flames. :)
M.Hassan, I didn't use a tripod, I just rested my body on an ottoman in front of the fireplace and got as close as I could. It was shot with my Nikon D60 on the P setting, ISO set at 800, manual focus. I'm still in the learning stages of all the technical stuff - very much a beginner and trying to learn as I go. :)
what a cool shot! and such a contrast to yesterday's photo, which i also love.
ReplyDeleteLove it! I feel warm just looking at it!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photograph, the warmth of the colours and composition are excellent. I'd love to have a real fire again.

Awsome shot Lis!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very technical shot to take. I'm sure you used a tripod and a very wide aperture and slow shutter speed.
ReplyDeleteThe composition is perfect and everything is really clear and sharp.
Well done Lisa.
I love this shot. I would love to print it and frame it. It's beautiful, not only warm in subject but in composition. Great work!!
